UK Athletics World Class Development Programme

As the national governing body for athletics, UK Athletics oversees the development and management of the nation's favourite Olympic and Paralympic sport, from grassroots right through to podium.

The World Class Development programme caters for athletes who are within three to six years of reaching a World or Olympic podium. For Disability athletes the criteria are tighter, and athletes have to be within four years of reaching the podium to be funded at this level.
