Get Kids Going

Mickey helps to promote Get Kids Going! It is a National charity which gives disabled children and young people - up to the age of 26 yrs - the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport.

GKG provide specially built sports’ wheelchairs for marathons, triathlons, tennis, athletics, mountain skiing, rugby, basketball etc.

Get Kids Going! also support British disabled children to compete by supporting them with their sports; training, physiotherapy, travel, design and development of sports’ wheelchairs.

Mickey says, “The race chair and training grant I have received from Get Kids Going! helped me get off to a flying start to win my silver medal in Beijing 2008.  You can see the race wheelchair funded by Get Kids Going! in the photograph below. Thank you.
